Louise Kjær has been contracted Strategic Advisor to Bluetown, a DK-headquartered tech-company that connects the next billion people to the Internet. With a unique end-to-end communication platform BlueTown will enable growth and higher standards of living in rural areas of the world.

Today more than 1.5 billion of the world’s population is without access to basic communications. They live in rural areas of the world with a daily income of less than $1 a day. To access healthcare, education and government services, they need mobile and internet connectivity. BlueTown is delivering the solution that will connect the next billion people with the world.

Copenhagen, Boston, South Africa

Apparently, the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals have alerted more actors to the fact that cross-sector partnership collaboration is a promising route to pursue.
Hence, we have been very busy working in Denmark for among others the Danish Broadcasting Corporation, The Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Copenhagen Municipality – assisting these clients in their efforts to design, refine and role out comprehensive partnership strategies.
Similarly, KJAER ADVICE has worked in the US organizing training for public sector officials.
Or in Southern Africa, assisting the design of a comprehensive public-private partnership program.

This year is coming to an end – lots of interesting work is waiting to be unfolded in the coming year.

Thank you to all clients and partners!

KJAER ADVICE leads workshop to design pilot projects in Colombia and Kenya.
Grow Film Alliance (GFA) supports initiatives that promote independent film making, advance audience building and engage communities. It is the belief that all communities and countries can enhance tolerance and involvement in societal matters when watching, reflecting and discussing films about their own culture, in their own languages. Across the world individuals and groups are producing films that have the potential to advance democracy and engage and inform communities. However, in underdeveloped film cultures many films never reach their prospective national audience.

GFA is formed in 2015. Moving into the implementation phase, the Alliance will support pilot project development in Colombia and Kenya.

KJAER ADVICE has been invited to help conceptualize the structure of a new international film fund aimed at strengthening the environment for film production and audience building in less developed countries of the world. Financed by the Danish Film Institute and International Media Support and in collaboration with Lustre Consult, a process of investigation, ideation and articulation of ideas will shape the contours of a potential new film support structure for the benefit of filmmakers across the world.

Oxford, United Kingdom

Cross-sector partnerships have never been higher up both the international development agenda and the business sustainability agenda. In many ways, 2015 marks a turning point in the field: the case for collaboration has been made and almost universally accepted. The priority now is on making partnerships happen at a scale, quality and with an impact that will dwarf the current efforts. That is the focus of a series of programmes being taught at the Oxford-based The Partnering Initiative (TPI), where Louise Kjaer will be guest lecturing on how to build effective partnerships. Louise Kjaer is an Associate at TPI (www.thepartneringinitaitive.com)

Copenhagen, Denmark

Likewise, Louise will be guest lecturing at the Copenhagen Business School, Department of Business and Politics, at the programme ‘Leadership in public-private partnerships’. Focus will beon strategic partnership and how to maximize impact through effective partnership management.

Big Futrue 2025 focueses on how companies strategically and tactically prepare for tomorrow: A future with a growing global middle class and an enormous growth potential – but at the same time increasing pressure on the supply chain.
